Inflight Chicken Curry
Taste of Pakistani food is very difficult to find when we fly around the world. Most of the people love the food offered during flight especially Pakistan International Airlines. However it’s difficult to have same taste that we enjoy in plane yet this recipe is very close to that. For all those who want to enjoy an inflight meal must try this recipe with simple cumin rice. Here is my recipe for chicken curry, in the month we are celebrating independence.
Ingredients
- Chicken (with bones) 750 gms
- Capsicum 2 (cut into dices)
- Onions 3 (sliced)
- Tomatoes 4 (peeled and chopped)
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Paprika powder 1 tsp
- Ginger powder 1 tsp
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Yellow food color a pinch
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Butter 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions
- Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger garlic powder, all the spices, food color and salt.
- Fry onions in oil until light brown, do not brown them.
- Add tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes, remove from flame.
- Blend tomatoes and onions into smooth paste.
- Again shift tomatoes and onion paste to the pan and turn on the flame.
- When all the water dries then add marinated chicken.
- Cook until chicken is tender.
- When chicken is done add capsicum and butter.
- Serve hot with plain rice or cumin rice.
